Kosovo celebrates the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence with a postal stamp

The Kosovo Post recently promoted a special postage stamp commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America’s independence. The dedication ceremony took place on February 3rd and was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S.

Embassy in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati, and the Executive Director of the Kosovo Post, Nora Rraci. During the event, Nora Rraci stated that the postage stamp carries significance beyond mere philately. She described it as a tangible representation of history, memory, and state identity.
