Kosovo Customs seizes warmed tobacco products worth about 12,000 euros

Kosovo Customs Anti-Smuggling Units recently conducted inspections across three separate locations within the Pristina region. During these operations, customs officials successfully seized a substantial quantity of goods. Specifically, the units recovered 33,000 units of the TERREA brand heated tobacco products, which are designed for use with electronic heating devices.

In addition to the tobacco products, authorities also confiscated one associated electronic device. According to the official customs announcement, the estimated value of the seized merchandise amounts to approximately 12,000 euros. The operation underscores the ongoing commitment of customs authorities in Kosovo to combating smuggling and illicit trade activities.

The customs service emphasized that its efforts are aimed at several key objectives: protecting the national economy, ensuring fair competition within the local market, and safeguarding the budgetary revenues of the Republic of Kosovo.
