The company announced that its teams are currently undertaking comprehensive cleaning and disinfection procedures for both the primary water reservoir and the associated distribution network. These measures are being implemented to enhance the overall quality of the drinking water supplied to the area.
During this process, the operational use of higher concentrations of chlorine than standard levels is anticipated. Consequently, KRU “Hidromorava” has strongly advised all citizens to refrain from using the water for drinking purposes until the quality parameters have been fully stabilized and verified. The official notice explicitly states, “We ask consumers not to use the water for drinking until the completion of the process and the return of chlorine values to the permitted levels according to current standards.”
Representatives from the utility confirmed that the company’s teams will maintain continuous monitoring of the water quality throughout the operation.
