Kryeziu-Hyseni: The opposition is leading us toward a new electoral process

Arbëreshë Kryeziu-Hyseni, the Member of Parliament representing the Vetëvendosje Movement, has stated that she believes the current opposition parties are actively maneuvering the country toward a new electoral process. Speaking during an appearance on Debat Plus, Kryeziu-Hyseni asserted that the opposition’s current push for elections represents a shift in their political stance compared to their prior criticisms of the governing administration. According to Hyseni, the opposition is allegedly failing to maintain consistency with the criticisms they previously leveled against the government.

She stated that, in her view, it is the opposition itself that is creating the impetus for potential elections. “It is precisely the opposition parties that are trying to lead us toward a new election process,” she declared. Furthermore, she emphasized that this action contradicts the grounds upon which they had previously criticized the current political structure.

The statement suggests a divergence between the opposition’s stated political critiques and their current advocacy for immediate electoral changes. Kryeziu-Hyseni framed the push for new elections not as a natural consequence of political discourse, but as an action originating from the opposition bloc itself. Her comments focused on the perceived inconsistency between the opposition’s historical criticisms and their current trajectory toward demanding a new electoral cycle.
