Kurti Contacts PDK Chair Hamza Following Meeting with Abdixhiku
Prishtina – Following a meeting with LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku on April 20th, Vetëvendosje leader Albin Kurti has communicated with PDK chair Bedri Hamza. According to Kurti, the exchange occurred shortly after the conclusion of the meeting with Abdixhiku. Kurti stated that he sent a message to Hamza, expressing a desire to explore potential avenues for progress.
He indicated a willingness to consider what could be achieved moving forward. However, Kurti emphasized that any offer of cooperation extended to the LDK remained exclusive to that party. He clarified that the proposal previously presented to the LDK was not intended for broader consideration.
“After I concluded this meeting, I sent a message to the chairman of the PDK, Bedri Hamza and said we should see what is possible to move forward,” Kurti explained. The communication between Kurti and Hamza follows discussions regarding potential coalition possibilities within the political landscape of Prishtina. The focus remains on determining the future direction of negotiations between the Vetëvendosje, LDK, and PDK parties.
