Kusari: Over 2 million euros in grants for the ICT and clean energy sectors will benefit dozens of businesses

Acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade, Mimoza Kusari, has announced the introduction of two significant grant schemes designed to bolster innovation within key economic sectors. The first initiative is an ICT Innovation Grant Scheme, valued at 1.16 million euros. This funding is specifically structured to assist micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), alongside start-up businesses, in advancing the development of novel products, services, and operational processes.

Complementing this, Kusari also unveiled a grant scheme dedicated to clean energy adoption for manufacturing enterprises, allocated a total of 880,000 euros. In a statement shared via Facebook, Kusari detailed the purpose of these programs. The primary objective is to stimulate technological advancement and support the growth trajectory of smaller businesses within the national economy.

The ICT grant, for instance, is explicitly designed to help MSMEs and start-ups bring innovative products to market. The combined funding package, totaling nearly 2 million euros across these two schemes, underscores a governmental commitment to modernization and sustainability. By providing targeted financial support, the initiatives aim to encourage local businesses to integrate cutting-edge ICT solutions and transition towards cleaner energy practices, thereby enhancing overall industrial competitiveness.
