Montreal – Lady Gaga has cancelled her final concert of the Mayhem Ball Tour at the Bell Centre, citing a respiratory infection. The pop superstar announced the cancellation on Instagram earlier today. Gaga stated that previous concerts in Montreal had been “magical and special,” and expressed disappointment at having to postpone the third and final performance.
A medical advisor recommended against her performing. In her post, the singer apologized to fans who were anticipating the show and acknowledged the frustration of the cancellation. She reiterated the positive experiences she’d had during the previous concerts in the city.
The Mayhem Ball Tour, which began in Glendale in February, has visited multiple cities throughout its run. The tour’s abrupt end in Montreal leaves fans without a final opportunity to see Gaga live.
