LAMM: Increased passenger flow, expected to take over an hour in Bogorodiça

LAMM has reported that increased vehicle traffic volume is causing congestion at several international border crossings. Authorities provided specific details regarding the current expected wait times for travelers. At the “Bogorodicë” crossing, the expected wait time for departing vehicles is reported to be over one hour, while the entry wait time is approximately one hour.

Similarly, at “Tabanoc,” travelers should anticipate an expected wait of over one hour for entry, though the wait time for departure is noted as 30 minutes. Delays have also been reported at the “Pelince” crossing. Specific wait time metrics confirm these delays: for VK Tabanoc, the expected wait for entry is over one hour, with departure waits at 30 minutes.

At VK Bogorodicë, the expected departure wait exceeds one hour, while the entry wait is reported at one hour. For VK Pelince, the expected entry wait is approximately one hour, and the departure wait is 30 minutes. Conversely, LAMM noted that at other border points originating from the Macedonian side, no wait times are currently reported for either entry or exit from the country.

Regarding domestic travel, road communication within the country continues to develop without interruption. However, the traffic intensity on road axes situated outside of major urban areas is currently assessed as moderate.
