Lexus does not only sell cars; it now also offers helicopter flights.

Lexus is expanding its brand presence beyond luxury automobiles by launching “Lexus Flight,” an exclusive helicopter travel service in Japan. Set to debut on August 24, the initiative is a collaboration with Aero Toyota and aims to connect major cities with various tourist destinations. A key feature of the offering is its potential integration with the luxury yacht LY680, providing clients with a seamless, multi-modal journey utilizing only Lexus products across land, sea, and air.

The core of the service is a customized helicopter, which is based on the Italian Leonardo AW169 model. This aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW210A1 engines, enabling it to reach a maximum speed of 267 km/h and maintain a flight range of up to 785 kilometers. The cabin itself is designed for luxury, accommodating up to seven passengers.

Its aesthetic inspiration draws from the design language of premium Lexus SUVs, ensuring a cohesive luxury experience throughout the journey. This expansion positions the Lexus brand to offer comprehensive luxury mobility solutions. By integrating air travel with its existing automotive and marine offerings, Lexus Flight provides a premium, end-to-end travel experience.

The combination of the sophisticated helicopter, the luxury yacht, and the high-end vehicles underscores a commitment to unparalleled luxury travel within the Japanese market.
