Ligji për përfaqësim të drejtë kalon në qeveri, VLEN: Mbetet vetëm vula e Kuvendit

The VLEN coalition, alongside support from the Ligj Për Përfaqësim Të Drejtë dhe Adekuat Mori Dritë Jeshile party, has secured approval for a key legislative measure within the government. This marks the final step after a lengthy process, leaving only the approval of the parliament’s seal remaining. Following over two decades of effort, the coalition expresses satisfaction in achieving a significant milestone.

The “Historic Law,” as it’s being called, is considered substantial due to its recognition of a constitutional category outlined in the Ohrid Agreement through formal legislation. “VLEN” representatives stated that the coalition intends to address previously unresolved issues. Deputy Prime Minister Bekim Sali indicated that this legislation concludes a multi-phase process, culminating in a decision from the Venice Commission.

Following a ruling by the Constitutional Court regarding the removal of the balancing mechanism, the final stage of approval is now pending.
