Marmullakaj: Albania is the most advanced country for European integration, while Kosovo is the slowest.

Researcher Highlights Albania’s Lead in European Integration Process

Pristina, Kosovo – According to Qemajl Marmullakaj, a senior researcher from the Kosovar Institute for Justice (IKD), Albania is currently the most advanced nation among Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Albania in the process of European integration. Marmullakaj made this assessment during a discussion on the “Tempus” program broadcast on T7. Speaking after a series of panels organized by the IKD in Pristina, Tirana, and Skopje, Marmullakaj explained that the events focused on the European integration process within Chapter One.

These panels involved participation from various institutions, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders. The research yielded a detailed understanding of the current standing of these three countries within the integration framework. Marmullakaj indicated that the findings presented a clear and objective assessment of the progress being made.

While specific details of the findings were not immediately available, the research underscores Albania’s position as the most advanced in the process, with Kosovo identified as progressing at a slower pace. The IKD’s work aims to foster dialogue and contribute to a more informed understanding of European integration challenges within the region.
