McMurtry warns of the series production of its electric hypercar

McMurtry is advancing the development of its high-performance electric vehicle, the Spéirling. The company recently released a preliminary image of the Spéirling Pure, which represents the anticipated production iteration of the electric, fan-cooled sports car. According to reporting from The Telegraph, the manufacturer plans to debut the Spéirling Pure next week, with customer deliveries scheduled to commence later in 2026.

The vehicle is positioned as a limited-edition model, with only 100 units slated for production. The initial asking price for the car is set at $1 million, excluding destination and delivery charges. Since its initial unveiling, the Spéirling has garnered attention for redefining the capabilities expected from a track-focused passenger vehicle.

This electric hypercar is engineered specifically for circuit use and boasts substantial performance metrics, including the ability to generate up to 4,400 kilograms of downforce. The Spéirling Pure aims to bridge the gap between extreme track technology and limited-run road usability. The release of this production model solidifies McMurtry’s commitment to developing high-output, electric performance machinery.

Industry analysts note that the combination of electric power and advanced aerodynamic design in the Spéirling Pure challenges conventional notions regarding the performance envelope of modern road-going automobiles.
