Meetings between coalition partners on Friday and Saturday will discuss the reconstruction of the Government

Prime Minister Christian Mickoski has announced that discussions with his coalition partners, VLEN and ZNAM, are scheduled for Friday and Saturday regarding the proposed restructuring of the government. Speaking to journalists today, Mickoski affirmed the ongoing cooperative relationship between OBRM-PDUKM and VLEN. “Meetings with the coalition partners from VLEN and ZNAM are planned for Friday and Saturday,” Mickoski stated.

He emphasized that the current political situation does not necessitate immediate elections. Instead, the government is in the latter half of its current mandate. Regarding the existing alliance, he expressed confidence in the established working relationship.

“Otherwise, we are not facing elections now; we are in the second half of the mandate, and we have an exceptionally correct and friendly cooperation with VLEN. I hope we continue in that direction,” he added. Mickoski referenced the coalition’s recent performance, noting that after the 2024 elections and subsequent local elections, where VLEN secured victories in ten municipalities, he sees no current obstacles to maintaining stability.

The scheduled meetings are intended to address the necessary adjustments within the government structure while maintaining the established cooperation among the key coalition partners.
