Minister of Public Administration Goran Minchev has indicated that the process of reconstructing the government will incorporate personnel from the second and third tiers of civil service who possess a demonstrated capacity for achieving results. Minchev stated that the administration has completed evaluations of all departmental officials and audited their performance records. He emphasized that the basis for retaining staff should be performance rather than personal affinity.
“Our current assessment is that our two ministers and all other officials are performing their duties diligently and effectively. In this work, the determining factor is the delivery of tangible results, irrespective of personal preference,” Minchev noted. In relation to this restructuring, delegations representing key political factions are scheduled to meet this Saturday.
These delegations include those from the parties led by Christian Mickoski of OBRM-PDUKM and Maxim Dimitrievski of the ZNAM Movement – For Our Macedonia. The primary agenda item for this high-level meeting is the announced reconstruction of the government structure. The discussions are expected to address the necessary personnel adjustments across various ministries.
The participation of leaders such as Mickoski and Dimitrievski underscores the political weight attached to the governmental overhaul. Through these discussions, the parties aim to align on the criteria and implementation plan for ensuring that the new governmental structure is both functional and results-oriented, following the guidelines established by Minchev’s office.
