The Kosovo Police reported the confiscation of significant amounts of weaponry and other related evidence following operational activities conducted in several areas north of Mitrovica. The confiscated materials are currently on display at the “Enver Zymeri” Special Units Center located in Mitrovica. In connection with these police operations and the subsequent discovery of the materials, the acting minister for the Ministry of Interior, Xhelal Sveçla, and the Police Director, Gazmend Hoxha, held a press conference on Tuesday.
During the briefing, Minister Sveçla confirmed that the police forces had located and seized a substantial quantity of weaponry, ammunition, and military equipment. Specifically, Minister Sveçla detailed that the materials were found in villages surrounding the area known as Kalludra, within Zubin Potok. Speaking at the extraordinary police press conference in Mitrovica, Sveçla emphasized the scope of the discovery, noting the cache represented a significant accumulation of arms.
