Kosovo Police Seize Drug Laboratory and Arrest Suspect in Pejë
The Kosovo Police announced on April 19, 2026, the discovery of a drug laboratory and the arrest of a Kosovar male during a raid in the village of Jabllanicë e Vogël, Pejë. The incident occurred at approximately 09:00 on April 18, 2026, following a police operation at the suspect’s residence. During the operation, authorities seized 91 suspected cannabis plants, approximately 4 grams of marijuana, an automatic firearm, a knife, and a mobile phone.
A subsequent investigation led to the discovery of a significant drug laboratory within the residence. The Prosecution and the Anti-Drug Unit confirmed that all material evidence was collected from the scene. The suspect has been formally arrested and is currently held in custody pending further legal proceedings.
This case is being investigated as part of ongoing criminal offenses related to the production and distribution of illicit substances.
