Tensions escalated during a parliamentary session today following an incident involving Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës member, Xhafer Mustafa, and Vetëvendosje party member, Egzon Azemi. According to Mustafa’s account, he was engaged in a discussion with Ardian Gola, who was chairing the session, when Azemi intervened. Mustafa requested that Azemi allow the discussion to conclude.
Azemi reportedly responded with a dismissive remark. The exchange reportedly led to a confrontation. Mustafa stated he does not seek to provoke conflict and expressed his discomfort with the situation.
Adding to the complexity, Mustafa claims he is facing pressure from the Vetëvendosje party, specifically Egzon Azemi, to step down from his position within the Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës.
