Albanian boxer Nelson Hysa secured another victory in the heavyweight division last Saturday at the O2 Arena in London. The bout pitted Hysa against the Norwegian fighter, Thomas Narmo, and Hysa ended the contest in the second round. The event was part of a larger boxing night headlined by Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgovic.
Hysa, who is 41 years old, achieved the stoppage relatively early in the second round. Specifically, just 36 seconds into the round, the Albanian landed a forceful right hook that sent Narmo to the canvas. Although the Norwegian fighter managed to rise to his feet, he appeared visibly compromised and was unable to continue the contest.
Following the exchange, the referee intervened and officially stopped the fight to ensure the boxer’s safety. Immediately after the bout was halted, medical personnel entered the ring to attend to Narmo. After receiving oxygen, the Norwegian fighter was observed leaving the arena on foot after a brief period of care.
The victory marks another successful outing for Hysa in the heavyweight division.
