Oil and gasoline are increasing

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation (MINT) has officially released the updated maximum allowable prices for various petroleum derivatives, effective for September 4, 2026. The new pricing structure indicates minor adjustments across the fuel types compared to the preceding day. Specifically, both gasoline and diesel experienced an increase of two cents per liter, while the price for gas saw a reduction of one cent.

Under the revised schedule, the maximum price set for diesel fuel is 1.51 euros per liter. Concurrently, the maximum allowable price for gasoline has been set at 1.43 euros per liter, and the rate for gas stands at 0.71 euros per liter. These figures represent a shift from the prices published the previous day.

Diesel fuel increased from 1.49 to 1.51 euros per liter. Similarly, gasoline saw an upward adjustment, moving from 1.41 to 1.43 euros per liter. Conversely, the price for gas decreased from 0.72 to 0.71 euros per liter.

These newly established rates will take effect at 10:00 AM on the designated date and will remain valid through the following day. The announcement provides clear guidelines regarding the retail ceiling for these essential commodities, ensuring market transparency regarding the cost of transportation fuels.
