North Macedonia Announces Reduction in Retail Oil Prices

The Regulatory Commission for Energy, Water Services and Municipal Waste Management of the Republic of North Macedonia (KRRE) has implemented a decision to reduce the retail prices of oil derivatives, effective April 21, 2026, at 00:01. The adjustment represents an average decrease of 2.13% compared to the KRRE’s previous decision dated April 14, 2026. The changes affect several key oil products.

The retail price of EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 gasoline was lowered by 1.50 denars per liter. Similarly, the price of EURODIZEL (DЕ V) diesel decreased by 1.50 denars per liter. A slight increase of 0.50 denars per liter was applied to the Extra Light Oil for Amvitsa (EL-1) product.

Notably, the retail price of Mazut M-1 SU saw a significant reduction, decreasing by 2.939 denars per kilogram to 46.288 denars per kilogram. The new maximum retail prices, taking effect on the specified date, are as follows: Motor gasoline EUROSUPER BS 95 – 80.50 denars/liter and Motor gasoline EUROSUPER BS 98 – 8 [Price] denars/liter. These adjustments reflect ongoing KRRE monitoring and adjustments to the market for oil products.
