Over 2200 traffic fines in 24 hours, police report dozens of accidents and several arrests

The Kosovo Police Department has issued a comprehensive report detailing law enforcement activities conducted over the past 24 hours, highlighting significant activity concerning traffic safety and enforcement. According to the police report, a total of 2,209 traffic fines were issued during the specified period. Beyond issuing citations, the police reported multiple incidents involving vehicular accidents.

These incidents included 40 accidents resulting in material damage and an additional 32 accidents that reported injuries. The department confirmed that enforcement actions were taken following these events. In terms of direct enforcement, police personnel conducted operations that led to the arrest of 18 individuals.

Of those apprehended, 10 were subsequently taken into official police custody. The data underscores a high level of police presence and activity managing the daily flow of traffic within the region.
