Pacolli and Lushtaku sign agreement for 4.4 million euros for Object C in Skenderaj

Sami Lushtaku, the Mayor of Skënderajë Municipality, has announced the signing of a significant agreement designed to finance local housing initiatives. This new funding mechanism will enable the co-financing of Object Ç, which is situated within the UÇK complex. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Fitore Pacolli, the Minister of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.

The total value of the project stands at 4.4 million euros, with the funding being credited through the Council of Europe Development Bank. According to Mayor Lushtaku, this development falls under the framework of the Adequate Social Housing program. A primary focus of the resulting housing units will be the families of martyrs from Skënderajë Municipality.

Mayor Lushtaku emphasized the importance of this undertaking, characterizing it as both an institutional and moral commitment to the families who have contributed significantly to the freedom of Kosovo. The signing of this agreement, involving key governmental figures including Pacolli, marks a major step forward for municipal infrastructure and social welfare. The successful acquisition of these funds is expected to substantially improve living conditions for vulnerable populations within the municipality.

The establishment of Object Ç represents a targeted effort to address housing deficits while simultaneously honoring the memory and service of local martyrs. The collaboration between municipal leadership, as represented by Lushtaku, and relevant national ministries underscores a concerted effort toward comprehensive community development.
