Parliament optimistic after meeting with the Osman Abidhik: Rationality is prevailing in discussions

Albin Kurti, the leader of the Self-Determination Movement, indicated that it is premature to evaluate the success of the recent meeting involving himself, LDK leader Lamir Abdixhiku, and President Vjosa Osmani. Following the gathering, Kurti stated that while the discussions addressed all major political subjects, no definitive conclusion has been reached. “We also have four weeks until the start of the constitutional session.

There is no topic that we haven’t discussed, but we still do not have any conclusion to share with you,” Kurti reported. Despite the lack of immediate outcomes, Kurti expressed continued optimism regarding the ongoing dialogue among the political actors. He emphasized that the process requires both trust and time to yield tangible results.

“I am optimistic about the rationality that is prevailing from these meetings,” he remarked. The leader acknowledged the confidential nature of the talks, suggesting that the depth of the discussions warrants patience. Kurti framed the proceedings as a complex undertaking that necessitates sustained dialogue among the key political figures.

His comments suggest that while significant ground has been covered in the recent meeting, the final determinations remain pending as the political landscape approaches the constitutional session.
