Police authorities in Pristina have arrested a suspect following an investigation into the unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution, and sale of narcotics. The incident took place on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” street in the city of Pristina around 6:50 PM. During a routine stop of a vehicle driven by a Kosovar male, police conducted an initial inspection.
Officials subsequently confiscated 526.9 grams of a substance suspected to be marijuana from the vehicle. The investigation expanded to include a search of the suspect’s residence, where additional contraband and currency were recovered. At the suspect’s home, authorities found 152 grams of marijuana, 1.42 grams of cocaine, 23.59 grams of hashish, alongside 1,650 euros in cash.
Following the discovery of these items, the suspect was arrested. By decision of the prosecutor, the individual was taken into custody. The competent authorities have taken charge of the case, which remains under active investigation.
The seizure of multiple substances, quantified in various amounts of grams, underscores the scope of the investigation into illegal narcotics trafficking within the area.
