Shkodra Police have reported the disruption of a serious criminal plot involving an explosive device. According to investigative findings and seized materials, the plot was linked to a bombing incident that occurred in September 2020 in the Selitë area of Tirana, which involved Preng Gjinit. Authorities recently apprehended 38-year-old Euglen Buraku, a resident of Durrës, in connection with the investigation.
Buraku was found in the village of Stajkë within the Deja Valley, traveling in a vehicle bearing overlaid license plates. During the examination of his mobile phone, police discovered a photograph of Preng Gjinit. Furthermore, investigators recovered explosive material connected to a mobile phone, indicating preparation for remote detonation.
The investigation suggests that the plot involved the use of explosives while the individual was moving. In addition to Buraku, police have identified a second suspect, Eduard Përgjoka, 34 years old, whose residence in Rubik was subsequently seized by authorities.
