Police provide details on the fire at the residential building in Pristina; seven people were injured

The Kosovo Police have issued an update concerning a significant fire that impacted a residential building in Pristina. The incident required the deployment of multiple emergency services, including the police, firefighters, and medical teams, who were mobilized to evacuate residents and contain the blaze. According to the Police’s 24-hour report, the fire took place on September 27, 2026, at approximately 7:26 AM on “Rrustem Statovci” street in Pristina.

Upon receiving the initial report, all relevant units responded promptly to the scene. Authorities successfully evacuated residents to ensure safety and prevent further danger from the large fire. The firefighting unit subsequently managed to bring the blaze under control and extinguish the fire.

While three individuals required medical attention following the incident, multiple parties sustained injuries. Specifically, three residents from the affected building and four firefighters were reported as injured. The coordinated response from the police and emergency services was crucial in managing the situation and ensuring the safety of the area in Pristina.
