Police responded to a distressing call regarding a deceased individual in Prizren. The incident occurred on February 4th, 2026, at 22:16, according to reports from Gazeta Express. Around 07:25 this morning, authorities announced they had received notification that an old man was discovered lifeless by a neighbor.
The discovery took place on “Enver Buqa” street, within the Arbana neighborhood of Prizren. Spokesperson Shaqir Bytyqi detailed the situation to Gazeta Express, stating that the deceased was approximately 53 years old and lived alone with his mother. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the location, where medical professionals confirmed the man’s death at his residence.
A police patrol secured the area, and subsequently, investigators from the Regional Investigation Sector arrived to begin their examination. Bytyqi further explained that following a thorough assessment of the scene, at the direction of the supervising prosecutor, the body was taken for further analysis.
