Prishtina officially declares the first wave of summer, Kastriot Selmani returns.

Prishtina has officially announced its first signing for the upcoming season, confirming the acquisition of footballer Kastriot Selmani. The 26-year-old player will be returning to the club, marking a homecoming after developing through the Prishtina youth academy all the way to the senior squad. The signing was presented by the club’s new sporting director, Mentor Zhdrella, who used the introduction of the striker to inaugurate his tenure in the role.

Selmani brings established experience to Prishtina, having played for several prominent clubs within Kosovar football, including Drita and Llapi, where he secured championship titles. Prior to joining Prishtina, Selmani featured for Egnatia, the Albanian champion. During his tenure with Egnatia, he accumulated 42 appearances across various competitions.

These matches included participation in the Albanian Superliga, the Albanian Cup, and qualifying rounds for international tournaments. The return of Selmani is seen as a significant addition to the squad as Prishtina prepares for the new season. The club’s management has confirmed the agreement, signaling a renewed focus on bolstering the team’s roster with experienced local talent.
