In a separate claim, Zelensky stated that Russian security services are contemplating postponing or canceling the selection process for candidates for the ruling United Russia party ahead of upcoming parliamentary elections. According to Ukrainian intelligence data cited by Zelensky, Russian authorities appear uncertain regarding developments scheduled through September, which is when the State Duma’s electoral procedures are set to take place.
