The Electoral Panel for Complaints and Appeals (PZAP) has dismissed all complaints submitted subsequent to the announcement of the final results from the July 7 elections, ruling them to be without merit. Several complaints were lodged by candidates Zgjedhrim Kryeziu and Bekim Haxhiu, who had challenged the vote recounting procedures. Specifically, these individuals had sought a comprehensive recounting of votes cast for the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) candidates.
Additionally, PZAP rejected a complaint filed by the Serbian List, alongside two complaints originating from the New Democratic Party. These latter complaints alleged various irregularities concerning the voting process. In its formal determination, PZAP concluded that all the submitted complaints were unfounded.
The panel stated that the complainants failed to provide sufficient legal grounds necessary to warrant a change to the officially announced election results. The decision by PZAP effectively upheld the integrity of the election outcomes as declared.
