QMK: 11 fires registered in open environments

As of the reporting time, the Crisis Management Center confirmed that eleven instances of open-area fires were registered across the RMV territory. Of these reports, one fire remains active, while ten have been successfully extinguished. The ongoing active incident is located within the Vasileva Municipality, specifically at the Vasilevë village, where the blaze is currently consuming a waste depot.

Significant efforts were reported in the containment of other incidents across various municipalities. Fires were extinguished in several locations, including Dibrë Municipality’s Gari village, where the burning involved low vegetation and mixed forest. Another contained incident occurred in the Zhupë Center Municipality, near the Zhupë Center area, which was characterized by flat land.

Containment efforts also successfully addressed fires in the Vallandova Municipality’s Kasandol village (low vegetation). Furthermore, incidents were resolved in the Dollneni Municipality, affecting both Zhitoshë and Lokveni villages due to low vegetation and accumulated waste. Other areas reporting extinguished fires include the Manastir Municipality in Mal Paris (low vegetation), the Aerodrom Municipality’s Draçevo settlement (waste), the Çuçer Sandevo Municipality’s Bllacë village (low vegetation and forest), and the Shuto Oriz Municipality.

The consistent reporting from various municipalities indicates a sustained effort to manage the spread of fires across open areas, with the primary focus remaining on monitoring the active blaze in the Vasileva region.
