According to the Crisis Management Center, a total of 31 fires have been reported in open areas over the past 24 hours. Of these incidents, eight remain active, while the remaining 23 have been successfully extinguished. These active fires are currently situated across eight different municipalities.
In the Prilep region, one incident has been recorded near the village of Bonçe, where the blaze has affected areas of low vegetation and low brush. Another significant fire remains active in the vicinity of the villages of Morane, Vrtekica, and Ramni Gaber. This particular incident is extending toward Paligradi and has spread over the village of Vrazhale within the municipality of Zelenikova, impacting a mixed forest area.
Furthermore, in the municipality of Studeničane, an active fire is reported near Cvetovo, situated on the old road leading to Elovo. This blaze has consumed low vegetation and low forest in the immediate vicinity. Makedonski Brod is also experiencing multiple outbreaks.
Active fires have been detected in several distinct locations, including near the village of Vidush, near Dragov Dol, and near Lokvica. Authorities continue to monitor the situation as response teams manage the spread of these fires across various geographical points.
