As of 6:00 PM, authorities reported that a total of six fires were registered across open areas within the territory. According to the Crisis Management Center, efforts have successfully brought five of these incidents to a close, leaving one fire currently active. The ongoing blaze is situated in the vicinity of the communes of Çeshinovo-Obleshevë and Probishtip.
Specifically, the fire is reported in the areas encompassing the villages of Novoselani and Lepopelci, as well as Buçishte and Neokazi. The materials burning at this active site consist of low vegetation and degraded forest areas mixed with low brush. Conversely, the management teams have confirmed that five separate fires have been completely extinguished.
Four of these resolved incidents occurred within the Shtip Commune. These specific sites included areas near the villages of Çardaklija and Star Karaorman, the “Isar” location, and the zone situated between the Shtip Dairy and the “Albatros” textile factory. The vegetation burning at these locations comprised low scrub, grains, and straw.
The fifth fire that was extinguished was located on the property belonging to “Zhito Pollog” within the Tetova Commune, where the burning material was also low vegetation. The comprehensive reporting indicates that while one incident remains under active management, the majority of the reported fires have been brought under control.
