Ramadani calls on VV to propose the Speaker of Parliament: Stop the sabotage against the state

Alliance Deputy Burim Ramadani has urged the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) to cease actions he described as “sabotage against the state” and to accept the outcomes of the recent elections. In a public statement, Ramadani specifically requested that VV put forward a candidate for the position of Speaker of Parliament, asserting that this action is essential for the establishment of necessary state institutions. Ramadani stated that the next phase of governance—including the election of the government and the President—cannot commence without this procedural step.

He noted that if a requisite number of votes are secured, the process can move forward. The Alliance Deputy emphasized that adherence to constitutional and legal frameworks must supersede partisan political considerations. He urged all parties to prioritize these foundational principles to ensure a smooth transition of power and the proper functioning of governmental bodies.

In his appeal, Ramadani reiterated the need for VV to actively participate by nominating a candidate for the Speaker role. He argued that this cooperation is critical for the country to proceed with institutional development. The call underscores a desire to move past political disputes and establish a stable operational structure for the nation’s leadership.
