Rama’s entry was halted at the cemetery of heroes, the son of the hero explains the reason.

Son Claims Cemetery Visit Motivated by Business Rejection

Ekonomia Online reports that the son of an individual who confronted Pristina’s mayor, Përmban Rama, at a cemetery, has provided his explanation for the action. The individual, identified as Rama, stated his reason for confronting the mayor’s entry into the cemetery stemmed from a denied business permit application. According to Rama, he applied for a location within Dragodan Park to establish a kiosk intended for families.

He claims that following applications through associations linked to the former AKR party, his request was rejected and he was subsequently humiliated. Subsequently, when the LDK assumed power, the project remained unresolved and was ultimately denied. Rama alleges that a different individual was granted permission for the same location.

He contends that prominent institutional leaders visited the cemetery of heroes “for the cameras.”

The incident highlights a dispute over land use and raises questions about potential political motivations surrounding the location’s allocation. Further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the permit approvals is ongoing.
