The operation, initiated by the Peja Prosecutor’s Office and the anti-drug unit, resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of narcotic substances. During the investigation, a critical finding emerged: the illicit laboratory was illegally connected to the power grid operated by KEDS (Kosovo Electricity Corporation).

KEDS personnel responded to the scene to document the unauthorized connection. “The KEDS team observed and documented the illegal connection of the laboratory to the power grid,” stated Shkodran Nikçi, a spokesperson for the Peja Prosecutor’s Office, in a statement to Gazeta Express.
