Saveski: We are closely observing the situation in collaboration with the Governor of the National Bank.

The situation is being closely observed by the Governor of the National Bank of North Macedonia. Nenad Saveski, the newly appointed State Public Prosecutor, has made it clear he will not offer any opinions regarding individual statements. His initial step upon taking office involved a meeting with the existing public prosecutors within the State Public Prosecution Office.

He outlined a structured approach to his role, detailing plans for comprehensive consultations. These would include meetings with all public prosecutors, categorized by their respective areas of responsibility – specifically four key public prosecutors – followed by sessions with the basic prosecutors. When prompted about offering any remarks concerning Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski’s remarks concerning Katica Janeva and the PSP, Saveski issued a formal statement to the media prior to the State Public Prosecution Council’s session.

He firmly stated his refusal to comment on the Prime Minister’s declaration. Saveksi’s actions demonstrate a commitment to a measured and impartial approach to his duties within the public system.
