Police reports indicate multiple instances of substance confiscation and detentions across North Macedonia on the evening of [date]. According to reports from MPB, police units conducted operations in several locations, resulting in the seizure of various controlled substances. In one incident in Skopje, officers from the Skopje Preventive Unit detained five individuals: G.A.
(25), M.R. (23), A.F. (36), Lj.M.
(18), and S.S. (25). All detained persons were reported to be residents of Skopje.
During the operation, authorities confiscated coffee substances, powder substances, marijuana, and a quantity of marijuana residue. Separately, the MPB also reported an earlier incident involving arrests in Manastir. Specifically, on July 7, 2026, at 11:10 PM, police officers from the Manastir Preventive Unit detained two individuals, F.F.
(32) and M.I. (33), both from Manastir. These detentions occurred after marijuana was discovered during a routine check conducted by the officers.
In both cases, authorities emphasized that the legal process will continue following the completion of full documentation procedures. The police stated that appropriate charges will be filed against the individuals involved once all case documentation has been finalized.
