Researchers have discovered that the male “G-spot,” previously believed to be a key area for female orgasm, is not located where experts had long suggested. A team of Spanish researchers found that the prostate, an organ involved in male reproduction, is not the primary source of male pleasure. Instead, the study revealed that the delta wave, a small triangular area on the lower portion of the penis, contains specialized nerve fibers that contribute to intense sensations.
For decades, the G-spot has been associated with female pleasure, referencing the Gräfenberg point – a highly sensitive area thought to produce significant sexual satisfaction or intense orgasms.
