Short on luck: Light teaches the opponent even for the second qualifying round of the Champions League

Drita, the reigning champion of Kosovo, has been informed of their opponent for the second qualifying round of the Champions League. The club learned on Tuesday that they will initially face Kaunas Zalgiris in the first round. Should Drita achieve victory, their subsequent opponent will be the winner of the match involving Attert Bissen from Kalksvik.

Given the current standing of the listed teams, Drita, the champion of Kosovo, possesses a notable opportunity to advance significantly in the competition this year. Nevertheless, the immediate focus for the “Intellectuals” remains on Zalgiris. Coach Zekirija Ramadani stated on Tuesday that the team is unfamiliar with Zalgiris but emphasized that sufficient time remains for preparation.

“A team that we do not know, but we have enough time to study the opponent and to prepare our team in the best way to face this team,” Ramadani remarked. He further expressed confidence, adding, “I see an advantage in the opponent.” The club’s strategy appears centered on thorough preparation to navigate the upcoming stages of the tournament.
