Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández, along with fellow players Javier Pastore and Ángel Di María, had been anticipating a potential change in the club’s fortunes. However, no immediate action has been taken by the team. Javier Pastore is set to transfer to Manchester United for the upcoming season.
Ángel Di María will also be joining Pastore at the English club. Pastore stated, “The response I received confirmed there were no issues, and I had previously observed an interview where he demonstrated no disrespect towards the club, teammates, fans, or any other involved parties.”
Di María echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that he had not expressed a desire to leave Chelsea or a preference for residing in Madrid over London. Meanwhile, former Chelsea player John Arne Riise has ruled out Fernández’s participation in the team’s primary matches.
Following the transmission of his response, Riise reported receiving no further communication from the club.
