Mitrovica Water Supply Company Completes Network Maintenance Works
The Regional Water Supply Company “Mitrovica” has announced the successful completion of planned maintenance and upgrades to its water and sewerage network across several areas of Mitrovica and surrounding villages. The project encompassed improvements to both the drinking water and sewerage systems. Teams undertook extensive work on key roadways, including “Tish Daija,” “Kuveri i Arbërit,” “Mrizi i Zanave,” “Mbretëresha Teuta,” “Dëshmorët e Kombit,” “Sami Gashi,” and “Evia Qelebia,” alongside repairs within the village of Kqiç.
Simultaneously, upgrades to the sewerage network were focused on “Ali Pashë Tepelena” and “Harun Beka” streets. KRU “Mitrovica” anticipates that these developments will enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of the water supply. However, residents should be aware that temporary disruptions to water service are expected during the course of these operations.
Following the resumption of service, some discoloration or turbidity in the water may be experienced. The company advises residents to allow the water to run for a short period to clear before use.
