A shooting incident occurred this afternoon on “Dëshmorët e Hereqit” street in Gjakova. According to Vlera Krasniqi, spokesperson for the Kosovo Police for the Gjakova region, the individual who was shot received medical attention, and the suspect has been arrested. Krasniqi confirmed that both the victim and the suspect are adult male citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
She stated that relevant police units are currently at the scene, conducting necessary investigations to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident. The Kosovo Police spokesperson provided details regarding the immediate aftermath of the event. She confirmed the status of both parties involved, noting that the victim received prompt medical care.
Furthermore, the arrest of the suspect has been completed. In addition to the police investigation, the “Isa Grezda” General Hospital in Gjakova was involved in treating the injured party. The hospital announced that the injured person was brought to the Emergency Service at the facility.
