Sveçla: Another massive grave found in the village of Jabukë in Zubin Potok: Serbia has not changed anything

The acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, announced the discovery of what has been identified as another mass grave in the municipality of Zubin Potok. The remains were found in the nearby village of Jabukë, located approximately ten kilometers from the area where initial suspicions of a burial site had arisen. Sveçla confirmed that the site contained mortal remains, marking the latest in a series of such discoveries.

He issued gratitude to several governmental and security bodies for their involvement in the ongoing investigation. Specifically, he acknowledged the work of the Kosovo Police, specialized units investigating war crimes, the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, the Institute of Forensic Medicine, and the Kosovo Prosecutor’s Office for their efforts in locating, investigating, and identifying these burial sites. In his address, Sveçla directed a call to international partners, urging them to issue strong condemnations regarding the situation.

He stated that the pattern of events indicated a lack of discernible change from the Serbian side. The confirmation of this additional grave underscores the ongoing efforts by Kosovo authorities to document potential war crimes sites in the region.
