Sveçla gives details from Zubin Potoku: Four bodies found in the new mass grave

The acting Minister of Interior, Xhelal Sveçla, announced that a new mass grave has been discovered in the Zubin Potok commune. Speaking from Jabukë, Sveçla reported that initial recovery efforts at the site have resulted in the found recovery of at least four bodies. According to the Minister, preliminary findings suggest that the victims were executed and subsequently disposed of by being thrown into a pit.

Sveçla confirmed that specialized teams are currently on location to manage the investigation. He stated that personnel from the Republic of Kosovo, including investigative units, forensic experts, and legal medical staff, are conducting extensive fieldwork. This operation is being conducted with the technical support of experts from EULEX.

The ongoing fieldwork aims to thoroughly clarify the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the grave and the identities of those interred. Authorities have emphasized that the investigation into the individuals responsible for this incident will continue without interruption. The coordinated effort involves multiple state and international agencies working to process the scene and gather evidence.
