Tahiri: Çmimet e derivateve rrezikojnë të lënë toka djerrë

Oil prices have risen, largely due to the global nature of the issue and the challenges in finding a resolution. According to Tahir Tahiri, head of the Sindikatës së Bujqëve të Kosovës (KOSO Farmers’ Union), the increase reflects a consistent trend. In an interview with Ekonomia Online, Tahiri explained that the price of oil typically rises by 10% annually.

He emphasized that the problem driving this escalation is not localized but rather a global concern. The difficulty in establishing a comprehensive solution contributes significantly to the upward pressure on oil costs. Historically, the oil market has seen a regular annual increase of approximately 10%, a pattern Tahiri highlighted as a key factor in the current price surge.

He underscored the complex nature of the situation, noting that addressing the underlying causes requires international cooperation and a unified approach, both of which remain elusive. The persistent global demand combined with the obstacles to finding a definitive solution are the primary drivers behind the observed price increase.
