Ten injured, ambulances depart from the collision of two vehicles on the Gjakovë-Klinë road

A traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred yesterday around 6:30 PM on the Gjakovë–Klinë highway, specifically in the village of Mrasor. The incident was confirmed by Vlera Krasniqi, a spokesperson for the Gjakovë Regional Police. Following the collision, medical services were mobilized, and the Gjakovë General Hospital issued a statement detailing the subsequent care provided.

Initially, a total of ten individuals were admitted to the hospital for medical examination following the crash. The hospital statement outlined the distribution of the patients among various departments. Of the ten admitted, two patients were subsequently transferred to the QKUK facility.

Five individuals required admission to the Orthopedics Department, while one patient was admitted to the Surgery Department. Additionally, one patient was admitted to the Gynecology Department, noted as a pregnant patient. Finally, one person was cleared after assessment and subsequently discharged.

The official reports confirm that the incident required significant emergency medical attention, with the hospital coordinating care across multiple specialized units for the injured parties involved in the collision of the two vehicles.
