The Municipality of Pristina and the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure (MMPHI) have jointly established a financing plan for key infrastructure developments within the capital. According to reports, the planning covers the construction of an overpass in the Veternik area, situated on “A” road, with an estimated total value of 10 million euros. Documentation within the associated tender file indicates that the project’s funding is scheduled to be disbursed over multiple years, extending through 2029.
For the initial phase in 2026, the financial contributions are allocated as follows: the Municipality of Pristina has committed 1 million euros, while MMPHI has earmarked 2 million euros for the effort. Additionally, the funding strategy addresses the “Jim Xhema” road in Pristina, noted as one of the capital’s most significant but currently incomplete projects. The planned allocations for this road show a phased commitment.
In 2027, the Municipality plans to contribute 1 million euros, complemented by 1.5 million euros from the Ministry. Looking ahead to 2028, the documentation reveals that the Municipality of Pristina is slated to allocate 2 million euros toward the continuation of this major undertaking. These joint allocations detail the multi-year financial commitment required to advance the municipal infrastructure goals using specified amounts of millions of euros.
