The cause of death of Turkish actress Ece Irtem is revealed

Turkish actress Ece Irtem, recognized for her portrayal of “Isil” in the series “Kizilcik Serbeti,” passed away several weeks ago at the age of 35. Initial reports concerning her passing suggested a heart attack as the cause of death. However, subsequent speculation arose, linking her demise to a potential complication following a monkey bite sustained during a trip to Thailand.

Following public requests for further investigation and a comprehensive autopsy, the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Turkey issued a formal determination regarding the cause of death. The official report concluded that Ece Irtem died due to ethyl alcohol poisoning. Forensic analyses conducted on her body revealed a significantly high level of alcohol in her blood, measured at approximately 395 mg/dl.

The institute thus determined that the death was a direct consequence of ethanol poisoning. This official finding superseded earlier family suspicions, which had suggested a possible connection between the death and an animal interaction. The forensic findings provide a definitive medical determination regarding the cause of death, establishing alcohol poisoning as the factor responsible for the passing of the actress.
