During a recent press conference, Valmir Elezi, the Spokesperson for the Central Election Commission, provided an update on the ongoing electoral process, confirming the commencement of activities at various tabulation points. Elezi detailed the logistical progress following the conclusion of voting across the nation’s polling locations. He confirmed that the voting procedures were successfully concluded at 2,498 regular polling stations.

Following the completion of voting and subsequent administrative processes, the materials were systematically gathered. Specifically, electoral materials from 949 polling stations have been successfully collected and transported to 38 designated municipal counting centers. Elezi stated that the vote counting for all participating political entities has now been officially closed at the initial tabulation points.

He further elaborated that the consolidation of results proceeds according to the established protocols outlined in the Law on General Elections. These centralized municipal centers are now managing the crucial phase of aggregating the votes. The coordination between the collection points and the municipal centers is proceeding according to schedule.

This structured movement of materials ensures that the subsequent stages of vote counting are conducted transparently and systematically. The Commission emphasized that all procedures are being managed in strict adherence to electoral law to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the final results.
